Sutures used in:
1. Vascular repair - Prolene (non absorbable)
2. Biliary surgery - Vicryl (absorbable)
3. Urological surgery - Vicryl (absorbable)
4. Abdominal sheath - Prolene (non absorbable). Ideal suture length should be 4 times the length of the abdominal sheath wound
5. Bowel anastomosis - absorbable(vicryl) or non- absorbable (silk)
